Robert Vrijhof

President & Senior Partner

In 1991 he co-founded the firm Weber Hartmann Vrijhof & Partners Ltd. The banking career of Robert Vrijhof began in 1978 with Union Bank of Switzerland, working his way through the international securities trading department. Later, with Credit Suisse, he held the senior position of manager of the foreign stock exchange trading section. In 1987, he accepted an offer by Foreign Commerce Bank as a portfolio manager. His profound knowledge in this area soon led to the position of Vice-President and head of the bank’s portfolio management group.
Since 1998 Robert has been on the Council of Experts of the Sovereign Society and has been speaking about Swiss Banking at their seminars worldwide.

René Schatt

Director & Senior Partner

He joined WHVP in 1995 and was promoted to Senior Partner in 1999. He started his banking career in 1977 with the Thurgauer Kantonalbank and in 1984 joined Foreign Commerce Bank and worked his way through the securities administration and trading department. In 1987 he became a “Swiss Certified Banker™” and in 1990, he was promoted to Vice-President and head of the securities trading department. In 1992, he joined the first Korean Bank in Switzerland, KDB Bank (Switzerland) Ltd., working as Senior Vice-President and being the Swiss member of General Management.

Julia Fernández

Executive Director

She joined WHVP in 2002 and has since become a key member of the company who is responsible for the office management and for assisting René and Robert in all business areas. With over 20 years of experience in the banking business, she can rely on a broad wealth of experience within the private banking sector. After a 3-year apprenticeship at Coop Bank and gaining a Swiss Bankers‘ Business Diploma in 1990, she went on to work for Bank Vontobel, where she spent 10 years in a variety of departments within the private banking and brokerage sector. Being fluent in English, German and Spanish, Julia is also highly appreciated by our customers for her forthcoming yet professional conduct.

Dr. iur. Daniel Koller

Head of Legal & Compliance

Daniel joined WHVP as Head of Legal & Compliance in 2015. He completed his bilingual (g/f) studies at the Faculty of Law at the University of Fribourg with an additional degree in European Law. Daniel wrote a doctorate at the University of Zurich dealing with internet crime.

Since the beginning of his professional career in 2001, he has been engaged in various finance sectors. After gaining experience at one of the largest Swiss Insurance Companies, for more than 6 years he served as Head of Legal & Compliance and COO of one of the leading life insurance companies in the financial sector, headquartered in Liechtenstein with a branch in Ireland. Furthermore, he played a key role in the parent company, a listed Insurance Group.

Jamie Vrijhof

Relationship Manager

Jamie joined our team in early 2017. She started her banking career eight years ago at Credit Suisse, where she worked in different departments, amongst others in Credit Risk Management, Consumer Finance and Private Banking. Her experience is topped off with several years of working experience at a Financial Planner specialized in providing tailor-made international insurance and investment solutions. Last but not least she worked as a Project Manager for a boutique-consulting firm, as well as for digitalswitzerland, a cross-industry association designed to strengthen Switzerland’s start-up ecosystem. Jamie is in the last year of her Bachelor in Business Administration with a major in Banking & Finance. Jamie enjoys reading, running, and skiing. She is a passionate traveler and fluent in German and English.

Daniel Gartmann

Assistant Manager

He joined WHVP in 2013. He is primarily responsible to handle the client’s administrative queries and acts as assistant to René and Robert in all client areas. With over 20 years of experience in the banking business, he can rely on a broad wealth of experience within the private banking sector. After a 3-year apprenticeship at Swiss Bank Corporation and gaining a Swiss Bankers‘ Business Diploma in 1993, he worked in several banks in a variety of departments within the private banking and brokerage sector. Daniel is also highly appreciated by our customers for his forthcoming yet professional conduct.
